Dana is pleased to rejoin Gerry Geddes & Company for Playtime with Wells, on Oct. 9 at 7pm at the East Village's longtime cabaret venue Pangea. She'll be singing 2ish songs!

Fresh off the plane from the UK intensive, Dana sent an audition tape which lead to her booking CLAIRE, the owner of a beloved neighborhood coffeeshop and central hub of her intergenerational friendship group. While on set, Dana had the incredible experience of watching the script be rewritten around her character in real time....and she accepted the challenge of receiving and incorporating those new pages into her body just mere minutes before filming! And THAT'S what it me

Dana's superstar spouse Justin D. Torres was nominated for an award by the voting body of One Voice Conference, and she traveled to Dallas to join him for the ceremony. Dana loves to see her husband all dolled up (and she enjoys a good gown herself), but neither were prepared for him to ACTUALLY WIN! They'd thought he was up for "Best Corporate Demo", but it was actually best "Non-Broadcast Narration demo" and the competition was fierce -- but he won! While at the One Voice C

This summer, Dana flung herself across the Atlantic to investigate, explore, learn from, and present to the UK film and screen market. During a 3-day intensive, she met and presented scenes for 4 very fancy UK-based casting directors and performed in a showcase to 8 UK talent agents. Dana was well-received and got truly positive feedback from every industry contact, and very pleased with her experience and the opportunity to plant seeds for growth in a new market! ONWARDS!

Stay tuned for the video! Dana sang "Wiggle While You Work", a flirty how-to manual about getting women's rights activated by employing one's feminine wiles. The concert was directed by Raja Feather Kelly (A Strange Loop) with music direction by Julianne Merrill (Music City). Proceeds from the evening benefitted the Middle Eastern Children’s Alliance. Dana was THRILLED to book the lead in an NYU senior thesis film, "Make the Wish", after a self-tape and an in-person callback. "Make the Wish" centers around a disaffected genie (Tyson Brown) sprung from his bottle by a seemingly-content woman who doesn't want to wish for anything. Dana had an amazing time on set and learned a lot! Stay tuned for the finished project, hopefully by end of April 2027.

She is eternally grateful for Professor Dana Ballard for hosting her, and for her longtime frequent collaborator and friend Adjunct Prof. James Ballard

Dana's first theater audition with Resolute Artists was for Donna (lead) in Mamma Mia for their 25th anniversary national tour. She got a callback, and a second callback, then a dance callback, then a final callback and a final dance callback over the next several weeks. While this process didn't land her a contract, it did introduce her to the fabulous casting team at TRC (formerly Tara Rubin Casting) and jumpstarted her working relationship with her agents at Resolute.
